Marshall Cavendish's Malay Editor told me that my next novel. Seri Tertangguh is too long. The novel is going to be thick. He asked my to cut out a few chapters. I said no. Let the book look thick. Let the book cost a little bit more. I told him that it will sell - confidently. But deep inside, I know it won't. People just don't read this sort of book. The market is rather specific and niche. That goes with my TV series, I think. A.D.A.M. is not about pretty female leads bickering off from episode 1-13. It's not romantic. It's not about seeing UMNOputraesque Malays in big cars and big houses. In spite of me, I still hold on to my believe that I will only write stories that I want to read and watch on TV.

Marshall Cavendish's English Editor already contacted me yesterday. I guess I can start writing drafts for my collection of horror stories. I want to propose that instead of writing a collection of short stories, I'll write a full length English novel. I know it is ambitious of me to propose this to my publisher, but what the heck.
