Okay, you just can't believe this nonsense. Now we have Mufti Noh Gadut from Johor who claims that it is against hukum syarak for men do the housework. And this guy is a Mufti? What century is this guy from???

What is wrong with this country? Is this what we actually want for this country?

So how do individuals like me fight against a fatwa like this if the Fatwa Committee decides to go ahead with it? How do we tell them that they have gone overboard in undermining our values and way of life?

Let Fatwa Committee Decide On House-husband Issue, Says Najib

PEKAN, May 13 (Bernama) -- Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said that all parties should stop making statements and leave it to the Fatwa Committee to decide on the issue of men becoming house-husbands while their wives go out to work.

The deputy prime minister said that making too many statements on the matter would only cause confusion among the people.

He was asked to comment on a statement by Johor Mufti Datuk Noh Gadut that the phenomenon of men becoming house-husbands while their wives go out to earn a living was against the hukum syarak.

He said that for the moment, the view should be regarded as a mufti's view and not something official because the Fatwa Committee had not made a ruling on it.

The muftis must discuss such matters and come out with a definition, he told reporters after launching the national-level "A First Aider In Every Home Programme" here.
