Nanowrimo @ MPH One Utama - 8

I'm heading up north to Sungai Petani today to do some work. Video shooting and photo shoot mainly. And I have to direct - which is not exactly easy since I'm working with people who have no experience facing the camera. Very difficult job, especially when I have to make sure their eyes do not wonder elsewhere and to focus on on the camera or me.

I think I will take this opportunity to watch a couple of DVD's while travelling. I'll be watching an anime and a Japanese sci-fi called Casshern. I don't know yet of they are good.

Oh, I've been downloading a few podcast yesterday. This morning while driving to work, I listened to Lucky Bitch Radio. Very fun to listen to. Last Saturday, I listened to Just Us Boys, they are equally interesting!

You can read more about the Nanowrimo talk at MPH One Utama at Sharon Bakar's blog. (More photos to come!)

My company had just given me a brand new laptop. It's spanking new! So, I have to learn to live with it. It's like having a new boyfriend - you just have to accept his quirkiness and eccentricities. You have to love him with no strings attached.

I have a love/hate relationship with my laptops. You see, I can't live without a laptop. I'm a writer. My laptop is the tool of my trade.

And please do check out an article by Guardian about a "Competition to reveal Britain's favourite gay novel" (I've gotten this info through Sharon Bakar's blog btw).
